Professional Groups/Agencies and Associations

Activity Directors:  Elder-ssage is pre-approved by the  NCCAP for six hours of CE. Approval # NCCAP29002-10. Content areas # 4,5,7 and 10 

Assisted Living Professionals:  AZ:  Elder-ssage is approved by the Board of Examiners of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted  Living Facility Managers.  

Athletic Trainers:  Individual courses have been submitted the TX Advisory Board for AT.

Fitness/Wellness Professionals: Patti Biro is a certified Senior Fitness Specialist. Courses meet the standards of the IFA (International Fitness Association)

Home Health Administrators: TX  Most courses offerd by Patti Biro and Associates meet the content requirements of the DADS 97.260 mandatory CE.    

Massage Therapists: Patti Biro is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider. CEP#45032-07.  Texas (DSHS) recognizes Patti Biro as an approvided provider of continuing education for massage therapists;CE#0517

Licensed Professional Counselors/Social Workers/Marriage and Family Therapists:

Patti Biro is a pre-approved provider of continuing professional education recognized by the Texas DSHS-State Board of Social Work Examiners and the Texas Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors

The California Board of Behavioral Sciences recognizes Patti Biro as an approved provider of continuing professional education for social workers and LMFTs. Registration:CPE#4106

Nursing Professionals:

Patti Biro, B.S., MEd. is an approved provider . This provider is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP 14813

Nursing: Texas Nurses Association

Elder-ssage: This continuing nursing education program was approved by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 

Relocation Stress Syndrome and Medically Necessary Dental are also pre-approved courses.

Occupational Therapists: Elder-ssage has been designed to provide six Type 1 continuing education contact hours as defined by the Texas Executive Counsel of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

Dental Professionals: Individual courses are submitted for approval by the Dental Assisting National Board. Most states accept DANB approval for dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants. Please check your specific state board.

Other Professional Groups: Your state board or national association may accept one or more of the above recognitions or approvals.  You may wish to contact your licensing agency for specific details.
